Ant Control

Fight the Good Fight

Ants have been around as long as dinosaurs and have conquered nearly every part of the globe. There are 10 quadrillion ants on the planet in comparison to approximately 7 billion humans. This means that ants currently outnumber humans 1.5 million to one! Every ant is a member of a colony, and each colony acts as a close-knit community, relying on scout ants to locate food sources. When one ant arrives—there are always hundreds following closely behind.

For this reason, it’s crucial to completely eliminate each and every ant that appears in your home. Failure to do this properly may result in an infestation of the whole colony.

Ant Inspection and Elimination

Here at Canady’s, we use a three-step process of inspection, elimination, and long-term prevention in order to expel the threat of ant infestations. First, our team will inspect your premises for all signs of ant activity and possible entry points. Once the source of the infestation is identified, we’ll determine the best course of action for successful elimination. When a pest management plan has been determined, we will thoroughly eliminate all ants from your premises.

Long-Term Prevention

Our ant prevention doesn’t end after elimination. Canady’s will partner with you to ensure long-term ant prevention. Even if there are no signs of existing ants in your home, it is crucial to understand the necessary precautions needed to keep these pests away. Make sure all leftovers are covered and put away, food spills are thoroughly cleaned, and counters and table-tops are free of minuscule food particles. Additionally, trim back all vegetation near the affected building, particularly larger bushes or shrubs that are in contact with your home or building.
